How difficult is our precut window tint installation?
We recommend thoroughly reading our detailed instructions before beginning
installation. Our customers that follow the instructions and have a some
patience are very happy with the results on their tint project. Rear windows are
normally the most difficult part to do because of the compound curve and in some
cases we recommend heat shrinking for a professional fit. This is explained in
our instructions.
Why is precut better than making my own from a roll?
It is a lot less time consuming using our precut tint kits and the end result
will look more professional. It's never a good idea to handle a sharp blade
around the interior of your car but with our precut kits you do no cutting.
Simply wet and apply.
Why should I buy from your company over another website?
Right now we are offering a special which consists of a free application tool,
detailed instructions, free shipping, 2 door edge guards from our clear bra
department, a discount on other products, and our "do over" offer. This means if
you are not satisfied with a window there is no need to buy the whole kit again.
We will sell just that window piece at a fraction of the cost and you can finish
your job.
What do professionals charge?
It depends on how many windows, the film used and sometimes even the area you live
in.
Typically the cost is over $300 for a complete 4 door car and most of this is
for labor.
Is your precut film an exact fit on the window?
On the sides and top it is a precise fit but on the bottom it is larger so you can tuck it
under the weather strip so there is no visible area where tint isn't covering
the glass.
Once I apply the tint when can I roll up/down my windows?
It depends on the weather. If it's in the sun and above 50 degrees it should be
ok after 24-48 hours. The warmer it is the faster it will dry. The film may look hazy
underneath but this is normal for a day or two. It will eventually dry out and
completely clear up. Use a clean soft cloth to clean the film and don't do this
for at least 4-7 days.
Is this tint legal?
Scroll below and use the table to find your state and tint regulation.
The numbers represent the percentage of light transmitted through the tinted
glass, so the lower the number, the darker the film allowed. Generally the films
are sold as 5%(limo), 20%(dark), 35%(medium), 50%(light).

These laws may not be current and are often enforced differently by
different PD's. In all cases, refer to you local authority for enforcement
policies, current laws, rules or regulations. Your current state law is the
final authority, not this website! S.U.V.s often have different regulations,
which are not listed here.
